Gather your nearest and dearest for a lazy (but delicious) lunch this Easter Sunday. Award-winning Chef Giuseppe Pezzella has put together a scrumptious 4-course menu inspired by his memories of celebrating Easter in Italy. We’re talking traditional Italian dishes, which means plenty of food and all the good vibes out on our sunny terrace.
Lunch begins with Uovo 65, a slow-cooked egg served with tomatoes and parmesan foam as well as Parmigiana Di Melanzane and fried calamari. In true Italian style, the second course is pasta (la vista, baby!). Chef Giuseppe will be dishing up his favourite Canneloni stuffed with smoked eggplant. The main event, Agneollo, is s slow-cooked lamb with pumpkin and lamb jus (made exactly like Chef’s mama always did it) as well as Pan seared sea bass. And finally, it wouldn’t be Easter the Italian way without Pastiera Napoletana for dessert. This traditional Italian Easter cake, served with ricotta and custard cream, satisfies any sweet tooth while still being light enough to enjoy even after a hearty meal.
